Is there a creative urge tugging at your soul? Have you wanted to capture the beauty of Florida landscapes and express how it makes you feel? The Studios of Cocoa Beach is offering a 4 week class “Painting Florida in Acrylics” with Jaymee Weinreich. The class meets from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesdays, January 17,24,31 and February 7.

With over forty years of experience as an artist and instructor, Jaymee will guide you in techniques for painting the Florida Landscape including sky, clouds and waves with the ultimate goal of creating two finished paintings. Emphasis is made on mixing colors, blending, creating dimension and glazing. From concept, to implementation, to finish.…it can only happen when you begin.

Weinreich has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Florida International University and has been a professional artist for over twenty-five years. She has the experience of teaching and creating art in a number of mediums. She believes there is an artist in everyone.
