On Thursday, Feb. 1, Lighthouse Central Florida is hosting the 4th annual Dining in the Dark event, presented by Genesys, bringing this unique sensory experience back to Orlando after a pause during the pandemic.

Guests will enjoy a multi-course gourmet meal, cocktails and live music in total darkness. The event offers an immersive encounter into a world of taste, smell, sound and texture, giving guests insight into what Central Floridians living with blindness or visual impairment face each day. The Orlando Police Department SWAT team will serve guests using night-vision equipment.

Proceeds from the event will help support Lighthouse Central Florida’s vision rehabilitation services for individuals of all ages throughout Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, impacting the thousands of people living with blindness and vison loss each year.
