Central Florida counties are opening up sandbag distribution sites ahead of Idalia. Most counties have sites open Monday and Tuesday. Bring your own shovel and bag.
Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole and Volusia counties have announced distribution sites throughout the region.

Marion County emergency managers have announced six self-service sandbag locations. The hours are Monday from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 7 a.m. until weather condition force them to close.
The locations are:

- Dunnellon Public Works, 11924 Bostick St., Dunnellon.
- Ed Croskey Recreation Center, 1510 NW Fourth St., Ocala.

- Tuscawilla Park (Reilly Arts Center), 800 NE Sanchez Ave., Ocala.
- Marion Oaks Community Center, 294 Marion Oaks Lane, Ocala.
- Wrigley Fields, 405 County Road E 316, Citra.
Orange County: Sandbags are available now thru 7 pm on Monday, and on Tuesday between 9 am and 7 pm at the following sites:
