Curry Fest is back at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The best in Jamaican music and food takes place Saturday and Sunday noon to 11pm.
Lance Bass is in town to… I guess say hello? Take photos? I don’t know. You can go see him along with the silver throated diva Ginger, the local drag queen turned superstar thanks to Rupaul’s Drag Race. They will be at the Parliament House Saturday.
Sanford After Dark in downtown Sanford is Saturday 8pm- midnight between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue on Sanford Avenue. This is a monthly street party featuring music, artists, vendors, food, and drinks. This month’s theme is “The Floridian Market”.
The second annual Thornton Park Putt N’ Crawl rolls around the Thornton Park restaurants and businesses 3 to 8pm. This is a bar crawl with mini-golf at each stop… so please do not be bad at golf, or drinking. Tickets are the cost of three side items from Dovecote, the restaurant that just opened Wednesday – that I’m now obsessed with. The Thornton Park Putt N’ Crawl is Saturday.
