Court: Driver Can Be Charged For Hiding Florida License Tags
MIAMI (AP) — An appeals court has ruled that a Florida driver can face charges for obscuring the lettering on vehicle license tags with a frame.
Hospitals Go On Lockdown After Parkland Shooting
Since the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, school districts in South Florida have been grappling with how to keep campuses safe without creating too much stress or disruption for students. Hospitals have to try to strike that balance, too. Hospitals in Broward County had to make some tough calls during that crisis and the effects were felt beyond Parkland.

Democrats across the country are hoping the so-called 'blue wave' that’s caused upset wins in solidly Republican districts will continue into November. Qualification for congressional elections in Florida closed last week, setting up some tough primaries- including Alan Grayson taking on incumbent Darren Soto in Florida's 9th Congressional District.
