Yemeni Leader Accuses U.S., Israel Of Plotting Unrest
Yemen's American-backed president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, said that the U.S. and Israel were behind the protest movements that have swept across Northern Africa and the Middle East. He said there is an operations room in Tel Aviv run by the White House that has the "aim of destabilizing the Arab world."
U.N. Security Council Votes To Sanction Gadhafi
The unanimous vote came as supporters of the Libyan leader imposed a virtual reign of terror over Tripoli. Earlier in the day, President Barack Obama said Gadhafi has lost his legitimacy to rule and urged the Libyan leader to leave power immediately.
Fight For Libya Edges Closer To Tripoli And Gadhafi
Libyan army units and militiamen reportedly attacked a mosque where protesters had taken refuge and fired on others protecting a local airport to push back a rebellion that has moved closer to Moammar Gadhafi's bastion in the capital. The revolt has broken away nearly the eastern half of Libya and unraveled parts of the regime.

A powerful earthquake struck Christchurch, one of New Zealand's biggest cities, Tuesday at the height of a busy workday, toppling tall buildings and churches, crushing buses and killing at least 75 people in one of the country's worst natural disasters.
In Phoenix, Foreign-Born Workers Find Jobs Faster
In 2010, U.S.-born workers lost more than 1 million jobs while foreign-born workers gained more than a half-million nationwide. Experts in Phoenix say foreign-born people are more likely to get employed faster because they are more willing to take any job, at any pay. Researchers say the trend could change the national workforce long-term.
