Award-winning pianist Dr. Zachary Bartholomew and his trio, present an interactive and exciting concert showcasing the brilliant compositions of two of the most influential pianists/composers of jazz: Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk. Plus, the band will present some original material inspired by these two brilliant composers & pianists.

About Zachary Bartholomew
Dr. Zachary Bartholomew is an award-winning jazz pianist, composer, and music educator based in South Florida. With over a decade of experience, he has performed at national and international jazz festivals, including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Jalisco Jazz Festival, and Festival Miami. Zach's music draws inspiration from jazz tradition, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and modern influences. He has taught at multiple universities and has presented at national and regional music conferences. As a bandleader, Zach has headlined at various top jazz venues in the US and has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Sean Jones, Victor Goines, and Dave Holland. Currently, Zach is involved in several significant musical projects, including the Florida "Jazz Access Tour.
