As friends gather for the family's funeral, they want the Salman Afzaal's family remembered as more than just victims of a heinous hate crime.

After being denied an opportunity once to speak at the University of Florida, Richard Spencer came back, prompting a state of emergency.

On Wednesday the University of Florida president released a statement saying Richard Spencer would not be rented a space to give a speech at the university. Spencer, the president of the National Policy Institute, and seen as a leader of the white supremacy movement in the US, had applied to speak at UF in September.
