National Highway Traffic Safety Administration

  • The head of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is warning Central Florida drivers to check their cars for defective air bags. That’s after Japanese company Takata recalled 34 million faulty air bag inflators. 90.7’s Renata Sego reports that the federal agency believes the air bags caused eight deaths, including one in Orlando.
