Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School teacher Jeff Foster shares how the Parkland community continues to heal one year after the shooting that left 17 dead on Feb. 14, 2018.

“People like to say that wouldn’t have stopped Pulse from happening. That wouldn’t have stopped the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School," said Brandon Wolf, a Pulse survivor. As funerals were held for the 17 people killed in the Parkland high school shooting, students marched on Tallahassee demanding a law change. But where some are calling for a ban on assault weapons and high capacity magazines, the shooting has prompted a different response from others. Some law enforcement officers say it’s time to arm and train teachers to respond to a shooter.
