Work Starts on Central Florida's First Expressway with All Electronic Tolls
Construction begins today on a road that will make the trip between I-4 and Apopka quicker. 90.7’s Renata Sago reports, the Wekiva Parkway isn’t slated to just be an expressway. Transportation officials say it’ll give drivers, walkers, and bikers and scenic view of Central Florida’s state parks.
