As COVID spread in federal prisons, many at-risk inmates tried and failed to get out

A bill that restricts discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in public school classrooms is set for a hearing in the Florida Senate today. It's the last stop before the bill could be sent to the Governor to sign, and opponents fear it will make life more difficult for LGBTQ+ students.
Solar advocates, utilities face off over net metering legislation
In Tallahassee, lawmakers are considering legislation that utilities say is aimed at equalizing energy costs for solar and non-solar customers.Clean energy advocates say the legislation would diminish financial incentives for rooftop solar.
