Experts discuss Medicaid expansion
The COVID-19 pandemic and recent federal incentives have reignited the debate in Florida on whether or not to expand Medicaid. The expansion was made available through The Affordable Care Act. Florida is one of 12 states that have not adopted the expansion. WMFE health reporter Abe Aboraya, Robin Rudowitz with the Kaiser Family Foundation, Miriam Harmatz with the Florida Health Justice Project and Anne Swerlick with the Florida Policy Institute join Intersection to discuss the potential impact of expanding Medicaid in Florida.
