New Luxury Resort To Be Built In Lake Nona
Orlando-based Tavistock Development Co. and Miami-based Crystal Lagoons have joined forces to build a large-scale man-made recreational lake as the centerpiece of a new luxury resort in Lake Nona. The 11-acre Caribbean-style beachfront lagoon, to be built near Lake Nona’s new U.S. Tennis Association complex, will be the largest planned Crystal Lagoons Lake in the U.S. to date. The sites are ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing and more. The projects also help boost real estate values for developers of nearby properties, bringing a sought-after luxury amenity.

Impact By The Changes Made To The GED Test In 2014
To most people, the changes made to the GED test for 2014 probably don’t look like that big of a deal. The price to take the test, which gives people who dropped out of high school a chance at an equivalency diploma, went up from $70 to $128. Its content was changed to more closely reflect current Common Core high school teaching standards. And finally, the test can now only be taken on a computer.
