Iran, Health Care Dominate Questions For Obama
In his fourth formal news conference, President Obama took questions Tuesday that focused on Iran and health care. He said he was "appalled and outraged" by Iran's violent reaction to protests following the disputed presidential election. The president also talked at length about the cost of overhauling health care and the role of a public insurance plan.

D.C. Metrorail Suffers Worst Crash In Its History
At least seven people have been confirmed dead in Monday's subway crash in Washington D.C. A Metro train that had slowed near a station was slammed from the rear by the second train, which jackknifed into the air and fell atop the first train.

Obama Introduces Sweeping Financial Overhaul
President Obama unveiled a plan to overhaul regulation of the nation's financial institutions Wednesday. He blamed the current economic crisis on a culture of irresponsibility by Wall Street, Main Street and Washington. Obama also said the government had to do more to protect consumers. The effort requires congressional action and would represent the most substantial revamping of the regulatory structure since the Great Depression.

Author John Rousmaniere recently published Green Oasis in Brooklyn: The Evergreens Cemetery 1849-2008. Now, Jacki Lyden tours the "Green Oasis" with cemetery historian Donato Daddario, a Shakespearean gravedigger and maintenance man who's missing only the skull from his hand. Daddario keeps watch over the thousands of graves at Evergreens.
