Governor Ron DeSantis recently unveiled his $99.7 billion proposed state budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1st 2022. Sometimes it takes someone to stand up and shoulder the burden of making a difference. Chad Pregracke grew up on the banks of the Mississippi River. He was appalled at the amount of garbage and pollution in the river and began a one-man mission to clean it up. He founded Living Lands and Waters and mobilized volunteers who, to date, have cleaned up over 10 million pounds of trash. Pregracke explains that we all have the responsibility of making a difference in our communities.
