Meet Nikkie Day and Iris Beate Struller at the reception on Friday, July 5, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.

While growing up, Nikkie Day had different ideas than what she was raised to believe. Traveling the world, she witnesses various cultures in developing countries that encouraged her artistic tastes, “like the blood nourishes the body." “...I want you to feel the emotion behind the paintbrush. See beyond the rose-colored glasses and taste the fire and passion from within. This exhibition is like removing layers of an onion. The first 50 is a blueprint that was not my own. The exhibition, “The Next 40 Years” removes the mask and reveals my true colors."
For many years, Iris Beate Struller has been writing and published her first book in 2018. She recently has found her passion for painting. “Combining the two really hasn’t been difficult,” she says. “Each craft requires a different focus, and I allow that to be, wherever it takes me for the day." Her exhibit, “Around Town” features water and land. Iris’ favorite subject is Life, she captures what takes place all around us.
