89.5 FM will have a crew working on the radio tower Thursday, September 10, starting at 9 AM. For the safety of the crew working on the tower, 89.5 FM will have to be off the air for potentially long periods of time during the day. The work should be completed by Thursday evening.

The Florida Urban Search and Rescue Task Force out of Orange, Lake and Seminole counties has been working hard at the site of a collapsed condo building in Surfside -- just north of Miami Beach --  since midnight Friday night.

Seminole County Lt. Tripp Hansen spoke with WMFE Thursday about their part in the huge rescue effort.
