When someone mentions mathematics to me, I think of the late 90’s Mos Def hit, if you think of fractions and formulas- and are a middle schooler- than you have no idea who Mos Def is… but this event is for you:

Orlando Math Circle presents “Play with Math” Saturday at 11 AM – 1 PM at the Winter Park Community Center. This event is designed for Middle School students and will go through activities taken from the Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival. It will be facilitated by college mathematics student volunteers and STEM professionals from NASA.  The event is free but RSVP is required through the Eventbrite ticket website.

City Arts along with Downtown Arts District Orlando are hosting “Art After Dark” Saturday- starting about an hour before it gets dark - 7 to 10 PM at CityArts on Magnolia Ave. Stroll through CityArts' six different galleries, experience interactive art, live music, along with craft cocktails and lite bites. This is a semi-formal/cocktail event- so don’t be slob or try to bring kids. Tickets are required for more information go to the City arts Orlando facebook page.

And finally, Who’s a good puppy? Who’s a good girl? Liten pappa-gris! If you have room for another fur baby in your heart and home… Bully Up Rescue is hosting “Bailey’s 2nd Annual Bully Up Bash” at Ocean Sun Brewing. Meet adoptable dogs, check out cool doggy gear, and have a pint of craft beer. Saturday afternoon 1 to 4 at Ocean Sun Brewing on Curry Ford Road.

And as Mark Baratelli always says, and I agree, Orlando is Wonderful.
