Tonight, Mad Cow Theatre is partnering with the Association for Theatre in Higher Education and a troupe from Saint Louis called That Uppity Theatre Company to produce a reading of "After Orlando: An International Theatre Action In Response To The Pulse Nightclub Shooting."

As the full name suggests, it is a curated collection of short plays written after the mass shooting at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub in 2016.

Mad Cow Theatre’s Executive Director Mitzi Maxwell talks to 90.7's Nicole Darden Creston about the production, and how it continues to speak to real life.

Please note that tonight’s reading does not take place at Mad Cow Theatre. It will be at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.

This segment features the song "Pulse" by Eli Lieb and Brandon Skeie, created in response to the Pulse nightclub shooting. This instrumental version is performed by Julian Bond.
