Friday Film Series: "American Impressionism"
Join the Museum on Fridays to see two films from the series “Exhibition on Screen.” On March 29 and April 5, discover how American painters interpreted French Impressionism with The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement, 1887–1920. Then, on April 19 and 26, view Mary Cassatt: Painting the Modern Woman to examine Cassatt’s life and career. Films, free and open to the public, are held in the McKean Pavilion, 161 West Canton Avenue (just behind the Museum). Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the films begin at noon.
