Scott Frost will take the reigns as the head coach of University of Central Florida’s football program.
Frost comes from Oregon, where he was Offensive Coordinator for the Ducks, helping the team to the Rose Bowl and College Football Playoff National Championship Game in 2014.
He played Quarterback for Nebraska in college, and defensive back and special teams in the NFL, including a season at Tampa Bay.
UCF’s athletics directorDanny White says Frost’s attitude and experience are “exactly what we need to compete and win at the highest levels.”
Frost replaces George O’Leary, who announced his retirement in October amidst a winless season.
